A Little Chaos

En plus d'être présenté au Festival Internationale du Film de Toronto, A Little Chaos, aura le droit à sa Première européenne à Londres, au Festival du Film en Octobre!!!
J'ai lu sur Twitter qu'il y avait déjà eu une projection privée à NYC (à laquelle Kate aurait assisté apparemment) et la personne qui a posté sur Twitter à ce propos n'avait pas l'air déçu par le film!
Vraiment hâte !!! (on va avoir de l'actuuuu )

Kate WILL be in Toronto. She's confirmed on the guest list. However she's not confirmed for London.

Hello everybody. I hope you are all well. I am a member of the BFI who run the London Film Festival and they have said that the full list of attendees will be announced in "early October." A little chaos is having it's official European premiere at the festival on Friday 17 October. Alan Rickman is expected to attend. If Kate is still in England at the time then she is a fan of the London festival and may attend. It all depends on the filming scedule for The Dressmaker and when she has to be in Australia I guess. I will let you know if Kate is added to the full guest list when it is available. Also, Kate and Leo are on the guest list to attend a 4 day charity equestrian event in L.A. which is sponsered this year by Longines and starts on 24 September I believe. I REALLY hope Kate and Leo do attend on the same day. Although Leo is due to start filming his new film in Canada around that time so we will have to wait and see if he attends. I expect Kate to be there for sure though as she is a major ambassador for Longines. Perhaps she will stay at Leo's house during her time there given that it's happening in L.A.

Je ne me réjouis pas trop vite mais c'est un très bon début pour un petit film comme celui-ci. Vivement les premières critiques et la première bande-annonce. J'espère que le film trouvera également un distributeur américain qui le distribuera en cette fin d'année.

Merci Franca pour ce premier extrait. Ca fait vraiment plaisir de voir les premières images. Une projection presse a eu lieu hier et malheureusement, les critiques sont assez mitigées. Certains le trouvent ennuyeux. D'autres reprochent au film le manque d'alchimie entre Matthias Schoenaerts et Kate. Toutefois, tout le monde s'entend à dire que Kate réalise une jolie performance. Voici les quelques critiques presse que j'ai pu trouver.

Screen Daily - Critique positive : There are a few times when modest budget shows through, but at the same time Rickman makes great use of the British locations and striking costume and make-up. Hit Fix - C+ : In theory, “Chaos” should live and die on Winslet’s performance, but the direction is so all over the place you just have to give her credit for trying. She puts more effort into giving De Barra a true dramatic arc than some of her peers would (you could see a number of Hollywood actresses easily sleepwalking through a film like this).

Content que le film ait trouvé un distributeur. C'est pas toujours le cas et certains films passent malheureusement directement à la case VOD. Par contre, déçu que le film ne fasse pas la course aux Oscars...

Super nouvelle !! Du coup, le mois de mars va encore une fois être un mois riche en Kate !

Ah ouiii, j'oubliais la date de sortie d'Insurgen quelques jours avant ! J'espère qu'on aura très vite une date de sortie française, j'ai envoyé un petit mail au distributeur français.
